The Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) Extension Services Department conducted its First University Extension In-House Review on November 25, 2024, at Nieto Hall, NEUST Sumacab Campus.
A total of 19 extension project proposals were presented by faculty and staff from various NEUST campuses. The initiative aimed to provide a platform for refining these proposals by soliciting insights and recommendations from a distinguished panel of experts in research and extension, including Dr. Marivic N. Villegas, Director of NEUST Extension Services Department; Dr. Marilene C. Hipolito, Director of NEUST Research Services Department; Dr. Marilou P. Pascual, Director of NEUST Training Services Department; Ms. Lorna N. Ejar, NEUST Budget Officer IV; Dr. Rachael R. Moralde, former NEUST Vice President for Research, Extension, and Training; Dr. Bernadeth B. Gabor, Director of Bataan Peninsula State University Extension and Training Services; and Dr. Eugene G. Baltazar, Division Head for Applied Communication and Continuing Education at Central Luzon State University; who meticulously assessed the proposals based on objectives, budget feasibility, risk management, scope, limitations, and timelines among others.
NEUST President, Dr. Rhodora R. Jugo, expressed her pride and appreciation for the Extension Services Departmentโs efforts, highlighting their critical role in addressing real-world challenges through practical solutions. She emphasized that the initiative reflects NEUSTโs inclusive vision of empowering communities and contributing to global goals.
The First University Extension In-House Review not only showcased NEUST's commitment to inclusivity but also solidified its reputation as a forward-thinking institution that transforms ideas into meaningful impact.
