GRAD SCHOOL RET CHAIR WINS BEST PAPER PRESENTER AWARD AT ICIET 2024 IN JAPAN

The International Conference on Information and Education Technology (ICIET) recently concluded its 12th edition at the Kaikyo Messe Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi, Japan on March 18-20, 2024. The event, co-sponsored by Yamaguchi University and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), gathered researchers, educators, technologists, and students from around the globe to explore the future of education in the digital age.
One of the highlights of the conference was the recognition of Assistant Professor Allen Paul Esteban, RET Chair of the NEUST Graduate School, as the Best Paper Presenter. Prof. Esteban's achievement was particularly noteworthy, as he competed against presenters from the US, Mexico, Indonesia, Malaysia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, and several other countries.
Prof. Esteban's winning presentation focused on the mobile dependencies and digital governance framework of the HEI, a topic that resonated strongly with the audience. His delivery and content were highly praised, showcasing his dedication to research and his commitment to representing NEUST and the Philippines with distinction.
In addition to Prof. Esteban's success, the conference featured presentations by other distinguished researchers from the Philippines, including Dr. Jet Aquino (GS Faculty) and Dr. Rolaida Sonza (GS-IT Chairperson).
