NEUST President Dr. Rhodora R. Jugo highlighted the performance of the University in a keynote address delivered today in the 5th International Conference on Advancing Knowledge from Multidisciplinary Perspectives in Education, Engineering & Technology (ICAKMPET) in Cebu City.
President Jugo shared the experiences of NEUST in utilizing the transformative potential of multidisciplinary collaboration in aligning global aspirations with national priorities.
“Education has always been the foundation of progress. But today, it must go beyond imparting knowledge—it must inspire transformative action,” the President said.
She also took pride in the University’s strides in championing education, engineering, and technology.
With President Jugo are Engr. Feliciana Jacoba, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Allen Paul Esteban, Graduate School RET Chair, as session speakers; Dr. Sarah Alvarez, Dean of the College of Management and Business Technology, and Dr. Marilene C. Hipolito, Director of the Research Services Department, as panel discussion participants; and other NEUST faculty members.
Organized by the IFERP Academy, the conference runs from January 24-25, 2025, with the theme “Reshaping the Future: Education, Engineering, and Technology for Sustainable Societies.”
NEUST formalized its partnership with IFERP through a Memorandum of Understanding signed on November 5, 2024.

The Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) obtained a total of P3,089,600 funding from the Department of Science and Technology Region III (DOST III) for its project that will help the agricultural sector in Central Luzon.

The Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology’s 2024 Research, Extension, and Training (RET) Planning convened an extensive and dynamic collaboration among RET chairs and focal persons from various colleges, units, satellite campuses, and off-campuses.
