1st RET Meeting and Planning (2024-2025)

The Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology’s 2024 Research, Extension, and Training (RET) Planning convened an extensive and dynamic collaboration among RET chairs and focal persons from various colleges, units, satellite campuses, and off-campuses. This comprehensive planning session utilized SWOT and PESTLE analyses to critically evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, and external factors impacting RET activities. Each participant meticulously developed an Operational Plan tailored to address identified challenges and leverage opportunities within their specific contexts. This strategic approach ensured a robust framework for enhancing the effectiveness and reach of the university's RET initiatives, fostering an environment of innovation, resilience, and impact across all levels of the institution.

The comprehensive evaluations of outputs of the participants were then critically reviewed by the directors of RET departments and the Vice President for RET, Dr. Rachael R. Moralde. This rigorous critique process aimed to refine and enhance the Operational Plans, ensuring they are strategically aligned with the university's goals and responsive to emerging challenges and opportunities, ultimately fostering a more effective and impactful RET framework across the institution.
